Junior Accountant

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensure compliance with internal controls and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

🔸Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers.

🔸Prepare daily reconciliation (Bank, Sales) reports.

🔸Handle accounts payable and receivable

🔸Assist in preparing VAT filings and ensure compliance with Omani tax laws.

🔸Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis activities.

🔸Liaise with banks, and internal departments as required.

🔸Support management with financial insights and variance analysis.

Qualifications & Skills:

🔸Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

🔸Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience (preferably in FMCG, Retail, or Trading).

🔸Strong knowledge of ERPNext /Tally / QuickBooks

🔸Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting.

🔸Understanding of VAT, WPS, and Omani accounting standards.

🔸Excellent communication and time-management skills.

🔸Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
